My love affair with the guitar started about 50 years ago after seeing the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show. I “borrowed” my sister’s Silvertone acoustic and taught myself how to play. Since then, I have enjoyed making music with lots of different folks in a number of different musical groups. Guitarists that have influenced me include George Harrison, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Terry Kath, Jimi Hendrix, Billy Gibbons, Steve Cropper, Carlos Santana, Duane Allman, Dickey Betts and Warren Haynes to name a few. Shortening my pinkie finger on my fretting hand by an inch or so in 1994 set me back a bit, but I am enjoying playing guitar now more than ever.

My guitar collection includes Fender, Gibson, Paul Reed Smith and Ibanez guitars. I have amplifiers made by Fender, Vox, and Blackheart along with a number of pedals/PODs. I have several keyboards with my Yamaha MM6 being the current workhorse. A set of Yamaha drums rounds out my instrumentation. I use microphones from Audio Technica, Sennheiser and CAD. For recording I use Pro Tools software, a Steinberg interface, Yamaha monitors and a MacBook Pro with an external HP monitor.
